Cell Groups

Cell Groups are the basic unit of our church and is our main place for being community and caring for each other. Cells are about two to twelve people. We would like everyone to be in one.

Cells usually form around a shared vision for outreach. The leader(s) ensure that the vision remains central and that the cell fulfils its aims for community. Cells worship and exercise the gifts of the Spirit together and outreach is through relationships. When they reach twelve or so it’s about time to become two cells. Cells are always open to newcomers.

Cells typically meet weekly (unless it’s a cluster meeting that week) but are much more than a weekly event, aiming to be a community, where we love and serve one another.

Cluster Groups

Cluster (mid-sized community group) is a group of two to about six cells who want to reach out to with God’s love to a particular group of people or place. They worship and express community, in ways accessible to newcomers, and relationships can form in more depth than is possible in a large celebration. Also, it is easier for cells to grow and multiply when the members are also part of the same cluster, because members don’t lose relationships with people who were in their cell.

Clusters are an excellent place for outreach, for making sure mission really happens. They allow for sustainable growth. Cluster leader(s) make sure the vision stays central and support the cell leaders in their cluster. Clusters typically meet once or twice a month.

Celebration

Celebration (or congregation) is what we currently do on Sunday mornings, as we come together to worship God and hear from him.

Celebration is the main place for receiving church-wide teaching and vision. There is also time for prayer for healing and the gifts of the Spirit.

Celebrations are good places to welcome newcomers and visitors and meet people from other clusters.
